June 11, 1994 began like many late spring days in Cleveland, Ohio.  But it would not end like most.

 

The Indians were playing out of town.  Walleye fishermen were working deeper water in the Central Basin of Lake Erie. Street people had begun to dumpster dive in the alleys while suburbanites in Akron and Medinah were pouring their morning coffee.  Reporters at the Cleveland Plain Dealer were putting finishing touches to the Sunday paper’s lead story:  Billy Graham Wraps Week of Meetings...
